2020 sure is shaping to be a year literally like no other – we hope everyone is staying safe and healthy in these days we’re living in. Please reach out to your neighbors if you are in need. I have always thought that Milburn Fields has a strong sense of community – reach out and check on each other.
Annual HOA Meeting News:
As announced last month, the HOA Board has established a rescheduled date for our Annual Membership Meeting. As the recent spikes in coronavirus levels in the city, we would like to make sure that we have everyone’s health at the top of our concern. If new restrictions are set – or it is determined that it would be best – the Board will potentially work with the presenters to coordinate our meeting to be virtual via Zoom on our planned date: Saturday, August 1st, 10:30 AM at the Overland Park Assembly of God (75th and Robinson).
An official notice will be mailed to each homeowner. We will have items to vote on and lots of information. Thank you all for staying engaged and interested in your neighborhood!
Independence Day News:
It was announced just recently that Overland Park has decided to cancel the annual Corporate Woods Fireworks show. Also as noted on our Facebook group, Milburn Country Club also canceled their annual fireworks show. Please remember that Fireworks are banned and illegal for the city.
