Winter is coming
Hopefully everyone saw the email note regarding the street reconstruction project planned for 2021. There was a lot of information that we were able to obtain at the first Public Works meeting last week, and the Milburn Fields website has a new section that outlines the latest updates. We encourage everyone in the neighborhood to stay involved and we value your input as the Board communicates with the city officials. There will be future meetings to discuss the planning and timelines for the project, and the HOA will be sure to help announce important information as we get it. Review the latest information available on our website!
The last Yard Waste Pickup for this year will be December 13th! Friendly reminder: the brown bag limit is 10 bags. Need tags for extra bags – check the nearest Ace Hardware for tags. Looking around the neighborhood, there are still lots of leaves hanging around – be a great neighbor and help those that may need help.
Clarification: In a past newsletter, we noted that it is the resident’s responsibility to keep the street gutters and curbs free from leaves. That’s not accurate, as the city notes that it is a code violation if you are blowing leaves into the street and gutters. Here’s a Facebook post from OP for reference.
As the weather is getting colder (quickly) do you want some free professional advice for prepping your home for the colder season? The infamous Bob Vila has a great winter preparation checklist for you!
We still have the survey open for neighborhood feedback for the Garage Sale and Neighborhood Picnic events this year. Have you submitted your response? We greatly appreciate your feedback and we want to make sure that the HOA is doing the best job we can for our neighborhood!
