October and (hopefully) a season change – Who’s ready for Fall?!
Fall is technically here and we’d like to invite you to the annual neighborhood picnic! It will be a rain or shine event this year – and we’ve planned for potential rain on this Saturday, October 5th. We have a new location: on 74th between Conser and Robinson!
If you have a tent / canopy and would like to bring with you, please reach out to Alex Payne on Facebook and we can coordinate help with setting it up next to the ones we’ve already got lined up. Here is a link for the Facebook invite – please RSVP so we can have a good idea for attendance.
- Pot Luck Style
- HOA will provide Hot Dogs, tableware, napkins, yard games, and more!
- Odd House Numbers: bring a side dish
- Even House Numbers: bring a dessert
- BYOB and BYOC (chair)
Ready for some Fall Yard Clean-up? As a friendly reminder, the OP City requires homeowners to keep the street gutters in front of their homes clean from debris. With the aging trees our neighborhood cherishes, they bring lots of falling leaves.
Speaking of leaves, did you know birds and bugs depend on them? Read this article for some tips and facts about our wildlife neighbors.
Do you browse the NextDoor app or website? They often have discussions that are great reads. Here is a discussion that goes into detail the benefits of leaving those leaves put! Milburn Fields falls into the 75th and Metcalf neighborhood – search and request to join to stay included!
HOA Insider Info:
Thinking that you want to be more involved with neighborhood events and meetings with the HOA? We will soon have another open spot on the volunteer HOA Board (April 2020). Please send us an email if you are interested in joining us.
Recycling and Trash Best Practices:
