Welcome to the new year!
As previously mentioned, WCA does not pickup yard waste again until Springtime – specifically March 15th, 2019. Need to take your Christmas tree down? The closest Tree Recycling Center is at Young’s Park, 7701 Antioch.
2019 HOA Dues: Letters were mailed this week to residents with the information for how to pay the HOA dues for this year. Find a digital version here.
Annual HOA Meeting: Our 2019 neighborhood meeting will be held this spring, March or April, and we will send invitations out as we get closer to the date.
The HOA wants to hear from you: Like last year, we will be sending out a neighborhood survey requesting your feedback. We want to best serve the residents and help connect neighbors with announcements, news, events, etc. Please check your email!
We need volunteers to help us with fun neighborhood events this year including Neighborhood Movie Night, Kids 4th of July Parade, Neighborhood Picnic, and Neighborhood Garage Sale. Let us know that you can help at – milburnfieldsjoco@gmail.com
Not a white Christmas this year, but still lots of cheer!
The winner of the Holiday Yard of the Month contest is 7133 Conser! My 3 year old daughter Ari was the judge for this particular contest – we wanted to have the winner be from the perspective of a child and award the winner of a display that truly captured the season. Congrats to the Olson family!
The neighborhood sure looked festive and Santa and his reindeer had no problems finding our neighborhood this year!
The Overland Park city-wide contest winner was also announced – the map on the website is interactive and you can review the homes that entered in the big contest.
