Her creativity and enthusiasm will be missed. VP Jane Doerflinger, has assumed the role of President. Home of the Month October
One of the goals of the HOA Board is to celebrate homeowners, who do an exceptional job in maintaining the exterior their home and landscape. Each month one homeowner is awarded a $25 gift card and bragging rights. October’s winner is Jessica Blanton Randel at 7245 Lowell Dr.
Congratulations Jessica!!
Curbside Leaf Pickup
The HOA is partnering with Benjamin Lawn and Landscape to offer a group rate for residential curbside leaf removal in our neighborhood. Our contract with WCA does not cover yard waste pickup between December 15 and March 15. We encourage the use of this service to help limit the number of bags stacking up around our homes in February and March.
This voluntary program has two pickup dates. Once in January and again in February, specific dates will be announced soon. The cost for this program is $68 for both pickup dates, or you may purchase separately. Benjamin Lawns will be sending sign up information to you in the next month or so.
Home Security
Overland Park Neighborhood Executive Committee shared at the last meeting the following offer: Ring.com, a security company that offers Ring Video Doorbells, Floodlight Cam and Stick up Cams, is offering a $25 discount to Overland Park residents. Go to website www.ring.com or email neighborhoods@ring.com to learn more. Promo code: 44ringoverlandpark.
Partnering opportunity with East Antioch Elementary School
The Board would like to see our residents help support East Antioch Elementary School. From time to time we will be sharing ways and items you can help contribute to the success of the students. This month they are requesting gently used Halloween Costumes and Backpacks. You can drop them off at the school.

The Eco Corner
The HOA encourages members to maintain their yards. Now is the time to attack broadleaf weeds like dandelions, to keep them from coming back next year. Now is also a great time for planting bulbs and dividing perennials. Visit http://www.johnson.k-state.edu for more information.
