Happy Independence Day!
A much-needed long holiday weekend is upon us and there are many city events happening around OP and KC. A friendly reminder that Overland Park bans any fireworks, however Milburn Country Club always puts on a great show that many can see from their driveways!
GFL (our trash company) will be delayed by one day next week. Trash, Recycling and Yard Waste pickup will be Saturday July 9th!
Yard of the month for July goes to 7138 Newton! The Board awards each month a $25 gift card in recognition to homes that help keep our neighborhood beautiful with a well-maintained, fresh appearance.

Want to see the biggest fireworks display in Overland Park?
Enjoy an evening of concerts, food and fireworks at Corporate Woods Founders’ Park on July 4, 2022. Fireworks will begin at approximately 9:45pm. Here is a link to the event map.
OP Pools are open for the Summer!
While Marty Pool is officially decommissioned, click to learn where you can swim.
The Overland Park Farmers’ Market is in full swing and back at the regular Pavilion. The expanded space has seen record attendance this year already!
Every third Friday in Downtown OP, shops and restaurants keep their doors open late for you to shop locally late! Learn more here.
There are SO MANY more June and other Summer events on the VisitOP website that I couldn’t pick any others to list – click here to view their full calendar to find the right event for you. There’s plenty of outdoor, indoor, free events to do in Overland Park this summer.
