Recapping the HOA Meeting:
Thank you to the roughly 60 neighbors that attended the annual HOA meeting in person or virtually last weekend. There’s still time to cast your ballot and you may vote online! We appreciate you staying engaged and interested in your neighborhood! The slides presented and the meeting recording are available on our website, and at the links included below. Please reach out to the HOA Board with any questions.
- Slideshow.
- Zoom recording – please excuse any technical issues throughout – we will get it better next time!
- Jason Hussey from OP Public Works spoke extensively about the street reconstruction project. He presented a thorough overview of the street plans, sidewalk plans, streetlight replacements, and a tentative timeline.
- Each homeowner that lives on a street that is being reconstructed should receive a packet of important, time-sensitive documents. If you have not received your packet by Friday, August 7th, reach out directly to Jason Hussey.
- Temporary Easement Documents included in the packets provide Public Works and Contractors access on your property to complete work. Failure to complete these documents could potentially impact the look or grade of your driveway to the street – however it will not hold up work for the contractor.
- Documents must be notarized. Please see slide 29 for resources for a notary public (we have a neighbor that is volunteering her notary skills on Sunday, August 9th (9am – 11am).
- If you have any questions about the packet / project, contact Jason.
- We were also joined by both Ward 1 City Council members!
- Holly Grummert shared a quick update for Marty Pool & a future public meeting is TBD.
- Logan Heley provided some updates on city taxes and OP Fall Festival, which is being planned with less events, no parade – more details to come.
The Board presented the 2019 annual meeting minutes, financial report, and the budget proposal for 2020. There were 4 items up for vote this year for By-law changes. A ballot preview is on slide 40, and a paper ballot was mailed to each resident prior to the meeting.
Please submit your vote. Vote online by Sunday August 9th – or by mail (postmarked by Friday, August 7th). We will announce the voting results early next week.
