Storm Debris Cleanup Assistance with the City of Overland Park:
Milburn Fields is in Zone 2 – so if you have debris, please ensure it is at the curb before next Monday, June 3rd. Parks and Rec crews will be in our neighborhood to pick up debris. Click here to read more on the city website.
You can also take your debris to the Parks and Rec Headquarters if you want the mess gone sooner.
OP Parks and Rec:
11921 Hardy Street.
Wednesday, May 29 through Saturday June 1.
Hours: 9am – 4pm.
Hopefully soon our neighborhood will be back in tip-top shape and the stormy weather calms down. Congrats to the June Yard of the Month winner, 7119 Conser!

Thank you to all who joined us at the block party – we had a great time!
HOA Trash Information:
The HOA’s renewed contract with GFL as the neighborhood trash servicer has some updates. The Milburn Fields Website Trash section has been updated.
- Bulky Item pickup is limited to 1 item a year. Additional items for an extra charge. Call to schedule directly with GFL (816-380-5595)
- Yard Waste bags should be lightweight. It is now GFL policy to exclude bins specifically for yard waste. If it is too heavy to pickup, their drivers may refuse
- Bundle your limbs (max length of 4-feet)
- No changes to 7am Friday pickup
The HOA will be planning a ‘neighborhood-wide bulky item pickup day’ soon. Registration will be required, we will keep you updated when scheduled!

Discrimination Complaints: The Board was notified by the Kansas Human Rights Commission that the investigation of the discrimination / harassment complaint was completed and no probable cause was found to support the claims.
The Board will update you on the resolution of the pending HUD complaint as soon as we can.

We try to schedule for the first Thursday of the month we plan to meet – more information can be found on our website here. The next meeting is planned for July 11th.
