We sure have lucked out with the beautiful weather to start September! The Board wanted to provide an update with the voting results from the annual neighborhood meeting held in August. All items that were required voting were passed by the majority of the voting residents, including the 2019 annual meeting minutes, financial report, and the budget proposal for 2020. The items for By-law changes were also approved.
- The HOA will follow the City of OP rules and regulations concerning pets
- The HOA will proceed with sending digital communications / Email where possible. Mailed correspondences will still be available
- The restriction on solar panels was rescinded. Note: the HOA will propose future guidelines on potential approval process for installations
Downtown OP News:
- New businesses are literally popping up in downtown OP! There is a fun, new popcorn and ice cream place: PopCulture. Parisi Coffee has a great new location that offers a true cafe experience. Also there is a new liquor store that has a great selection of wine and spirits: the Bottle Company. HotWorx offers a new gym / sauna experience too!
- Need curbside & takeout ideas for dinner? Don’t forget the favorites: Buffalo State Pizza, The Peanut, The Other Place, Lemongrass, Strang Hall, The Brew Lab – so many to name!
- Fall Festival is Cancelled this year
- The Farmers Market will remain at Matt Ross Community Center the remainder of the year
- City Budget 2021: no levy increase
- September is National Preparedness Month

7221 Conser! The YOTM committee is looking for curb appeal, clean cut green yards, beautiful flowers, etc. Winner gets a Home Depot gift card and gets the joy of displaying the Milburn Fields yard sign for the month.
