Super Bowl Bound – Again!<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Let’s Go Chiefs!

We have sent two rounds of emails regarding the dues for 2021.\u00a0As a reminder, we\u00a0are using our new HOA resident database to help deliver this notice electronically and save a stamp.\u00a0To this point\u00a0we have many still outstanding, and so we will\u00a0be mailing a letter to those houses who have not yet paid. Final reminder letters will be sent by the end of this week.

Please know that if you have not submitted payment by March 1, we will need to\u00a0notify\u00a0WCA that your\u00a0trash collection\u00a0will end.<\/strong>\u00a0If late and we need to reconnect your service,\u00a010%\u00a0fee will be added to your account.\u00a0Since the bulk of the fees we collect pays for the neighborhood WCA contract for trash, recycling, and year-round yard waste pickup – unpaid dues requires us to review our contract.\u00a0

Here’s how you can pay the $216 amount:
Pay by Check:\u00a0<\/strong>Make payable to Milburn Fields HOA mail to P.O. Box 4277, Overland Park, KS 66204
Pay by PayPal:<\/strong>\u00a0On the HOA website\u00a0www.milburnfieldsop.com.\u00a0<\/a>In the right-hand column, enter your address & phone number in the boxes & click the PAY NOW button. Please note there is a $7.00 service fee when paying by PayPal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Street Reconstruction Project<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We have received an update on the project from Jason Hussey with OP Public Works. As of right now, we are still on schedule and timeline. As you might have noticed, there are some crews marking gas and water lines around the neighborhood. That utility work is slated to start now as updating the lines are part of the project.

In the meantime, the bid for the project was opened to contractors. Fun Fact:<\/em><\/strong> the engineer’s estimate for the project was $5.6M. The current bid received is under that, and will go to the Public Works Committee February 24th. After it is approved, it will go to the City Council for a March 1 vote. Due to the pandemic and in lieu of a meeting, a letter from Jason is expected to go out to residents after City approval with more information (he anticipates that to be near the end of March).  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
