If you aren&#8217;t in our private <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/299208963766023\" target=\"_blank\">facebook group (which we hope you join!)<\/a> it was announced a couple weeks ago that the weekend of October 9th is the date decided. We will promote the annual garage sale on social media sites and place multiple yard signs near the neighborhood to help drive traffic. We hope the weather cooperates &#8211; but this is a rain or shine event. But as the CDC has announced, they do not recommend trick-or-treating this year due to the coronavirus.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"text-align:center\">National Night Out &#8211; 2020<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This year&#8217;s National Night Out will feature the Overland Park Police Department, on tour! Join for a socially distanced parade on the evening of October 6. Officers will make stops at these locations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>5:30 pm: City Hall<\/li><li>6 pm: Oak Park Mall&nbsp;<\/li><li>6:30 pm: Johnson County Community College&nbsp;<\/li><li>7 pm: Deanna Rose Children&#8217;s Farmstead&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p> If you attend, please wear a mask.
