Summer is winding down, although the heatwaves\u00a0linger\u00a0on… It’s a great time to fire up the grill\u00a0starting the first weekend in September\u00a0with the extra day to your\u00a0Labor Day Holiday weekend. This month is packed with events, both in the neighborhood and in Overland Park.<\/p>\n

Ready for some Pre-Fall Cleaning? There are many\u00a0chances this month to clean house and rid yourself of any stuff taking up space. Starting\u00a0Saturday, September 7th:<\/strong>\u00a0Overland Park’s 2019 Fall Recycling Extravaganza\u00a0is taking place at Black & Veatch, 11401 Lamar Ave. Click here to learn more about what is accepted!<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The much-anticipated Bulky Item Pickup for our section of the city is slated for September 14th.<\/strong>\u00a0Click here to read the Regulations for Pickup and the list of accepted items.<\/a>\u00a0 Trucks will be coming thru to pick up large items. PRO tip: <\/strong>the neighborhood often sees individuals driving around looking for free treasures – place your items out early and you may be able to clear out\u00a0more than the limit of 5 items the truck will take.<\/p>\n

The HOA annual neighborhood Garage Sale is planned for the weekend of September 19th, 20th, and 21st!\u00a0<\/strong> The HOA will be placing\u00a0promotional\u00a0signs\u00a0at busy intersections near our neighborhood to help attract as much traffic as possible! Get your stuff ready to sell!<\/p>\n
