August Brings Summer Events and Fun Times!<\/strong><\/u><\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/a>Happy Summer!\u00a0 There are many events in and around the city planned for August and beyond! The National Night Out this year is scheduled for August 6th.\u00a0 Overland Park has local events planned at Sapling Park and Windham Hill Park – sign up to attend the free party<\/a> (hot dogs, chips, water & some back to school items free!).<\/p>\n

The HOA conducted an email survey and created a poll on Facebook regarding the proposed dates for this year’s annual neighborhood Garage Sale. Exciting news, there was a lot of responses and a weekend date has been identified. Get your things together, price your stuff, and bring it out to your garage and driveways the weekend of September 19th, 20th, and 21st!\u00a0<\/strong> The HOA has purchased additional signs to place at busy intersections near our neighborhood to help promote!<\/p>\n

Recycling and Trash Best Practices:<\/strong>
\nPlease be mindful which items are truly ‘recyclable’ when placing into your yellow bins. Glass, plastics bags, paper and styrofoam tableware are all examples\u00a0shouldn’t be placed in the bins for recycling.\u00a0 Click here for the full list.<\/a><\/p>\n

The Overland Park Convention Center will host over 40 giant trucks and farm vehicles that your kids will sure to enjoy. Touch, Climb, and be amazed! Admission is FREE and donations will go towards Toys for Tots!
