We have an opening on the HOA Board, – so if you have an interest – now is the time to throw your hat in the ring.<\/p>\n

HOA Annual General Membership Meeting – 4\/5\/18 @ 6:30pm<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mark your calendar and attend your annual General Membership meeting. In addition to learning about and directly contributing to your neighborhood, you may also win one of the door prizes!<\/p>\n

The meeting is open to all Milburn Fields residents and will be held April 5th at the Assembly of God Church @ 75th & Robinson at 6:30 PM. The agenda includes:

\n\u2022 City Forester Bailey Patterson, City Trees, and the Cost Share Program for Tree Replacement.

Annual memberships allow guests unlimited access to any of the city’s outdoor swimming pools.
\nRegistration for the current season must be done at the either the Matt Ross or Tomahawk Ridge Community Centers.<\/p>\n

\"seedlings\"<\/a>Free Seedling Giveaway Saturday 4\/7 from 9am to noon<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Legacy of Greenery Committee and Arboretum volunteers will be handing out free tree and shrub seedlings to visitors while supplies last.<\/p>\n

All species of trees and shrubs will be bare root and come with instructions on planting and maintenance.<\/p>\n

There is a mix of deciduous and evergreen trees and a few shrubs for those of you without space for a new tree.
\nShrubs and seedlings will be handed out at the following locations:

\n\u2022 Tomahawk Ridge Community Center
\n\u2022 Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens

\"yard-waste\"<\/a>Yard Waste Pickup<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yard waste pickup is now in effect for 2018.<\/p>\n

Yard waste includes leaves, grass clippings, branches, and general yard debris. Please don\u2019t combine with wood fencing, landscape timbers, flower pots, yard decorations, mulch, or dirt.<\/p>\n

Yard waste can only be collected in tied bags or bundles. Grass clippings and leafy debris should be placed at the curb in biodegradable trash bags, homeowner-provided containers.<\/p>\n

Branches and limbs should be no longer than four (4) feet in length, and six (6) inches in diameter. All branches and limbs should be tied in bundles weighing less than 50 pounds, and bundles should be stacked uniformly at the curb.<\/p>\n

OP Recycling Extravaganza – Saturday April 21st\u00a0 8am-2pm<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n

Make plans to recycle just about anything!\u00a0 This list of items that you can recycle is quite extensive; documents, building material, bicycles, flourescent bulbs, fabric, garden tools, gently used shoes, durable medical equipment,\u00a0pet supplies, musical instruments, books, used eyeglasses, mattresses, electronics, and much, much more.<\/p>\n

We Want Your Yard!<\/strong><\/p>\n
